No, I do not accept any insurance. However, if you would like, I can provide you with a receipt called a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement of service. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance if you wish to go this route.
A superbill is a form (almost like a receipt) I can create and provide you, in exchange for your payment which you can then submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement for some or all of my session fee. Once I have issued you the superbill, it will be up to you to coordinate with their insurer for reimbursement as every insurance company and policy varies.
I require 24 hours’ notice of cancellation or you will need to pay for the appointment. An occasional exception may be made in the case of an emergency. It’s important that we meet consistently in order to make progress working towards your goals!
Not one person is the same! So, therapy will naturally vary from person to person. My goal with each client is to create a safe space for you to feel comfortable working through what you need at the time. I want therapy to be effective for YOU. I work to create a supportive space free from judgements, where you can feel comfortable opening up and working towards change through personal growth.
A credit card will be kept on file. This information is secured in my HIPAA compliant electronic health recording keeping system. I typically send out weekly invoices on Mondays that you can pay ahead of time, or the day of your session. I can either charge the card on file or you can submit an alternate form of payment (check, different debit/credit card).
The best way to know for sure is to come in for a session. Most people have a good sense of whether I am the right person to help them within the first two sessions. You can also schedule a free 10-minute phone consultation!
