Preparing for, starting, and maintaining a family is one of the biggest transitions and jobs you will make throughout your life. This life change can bring up a new set of expectations, responsibilities, and unexpected struggles. Not to mention the psychical, psychological, and social changes that come with it.
Society often bombards new parents with messages about how they "should" think and feel. You may hear that you should be grateful and fulfilled, throughout pregnancy and into parenthood. But let's face it... this is not always the case. At that's okay. You're not alone. Pregnancy and new motherhood can be uncomfortable, boring, and even scary at times.
